About
The Kenan Institute Asia is a Thailand-based, non-profit development organization working to promote results-oriented, sustainable development in Asia with an emphasis on the Greater Mekong Subregion. K.I.Asia provides project management, consulting, training, and research services for corporate, government and multilateral clients.  The focus areas of KIAsia include entrepreneurship, business and economic development, education, public health, and corporate social and environmental responsibility.

Program description
“New Entrepreneur Creation program” consists of 9 modules including government policy and support mechanisms for Thai’s SMEs, opportunity analysis for new entrepreneurs, marketing, HR and business law and company visits. Usually, the program starts on January and takes around 2 months to finish.

Participants
The participants are targeted new and potential entrepreneur, those who plan to establish business within 2 years and existing business owners that have been established less than 2 years. Generally. They include new graduate, unemployment, SMEs owners (business less than 2 years), current employees that expected to set up business, potential entrepreneurs, and those who plan to succeed their family businesses. The age are vary from 22 – 60, which the majority average of 30-40.

Applications
No tuition fee. The applicants are required to send the draft business plan/ideas to KIAsia for consider, the committee evaluate that the business are viable and the applicants has somewhat supported resources to make business possible. The applicants then required for an interview with committee, from their institution and government agency (sponsor) to evaluate the commitment of applicants. The score for each applicant are then ranked for eligible to the courses.

Program description
Change Fusion's innovations includes a program called Youth Social Enterprise Initiative (YSEI). YSEI is a high-engagement social venture program for emerging young social entrepreneurs in developing countries.                   Through the Emergence Fellowship, YSEI aims to invest in young visionaries who have big ideas and who need crucial startup support to turn their ideas into action.    YSEI provided a capacity building workshop for 19 selected entrepreneurs for the first round. 10 best performance entrepreneurs were selected to be part of YSEI Fellowship program.  Supports in financing, essential development knowledge & tools on social entrepreneurship, technical consulting through mentorship and access to diverse networks are provided. 

Participants
YSEI program supports youth entrepreneurs aged between 20 and 35 years old in Asia East and Asia South regions.  Requirements: 1.Social ventures with blended values (value creation that consists of economic, social and/or environmental value components 2.Information & communication technologies (ICTs) are recognized as an integral part of the venture/solution-provided 3.Ventures are led by youth from developing countries aged between 20 to 35 years with a minimum of 6 months implementation 4.Ventures that are specifically targeted to poverty reduction, improving disadvantaged/marginalized groups, environmental protection, gender equality & human rights.

About
Ashoka's Youth Venture is a global movement that inspires, invests, and supports young people to lead social change. They invest in young people, from the age of 15 to 24, to design and lead their own initiatives that create social impact. In creating and launching their “Ventures,” as they form teams and work together, young people learn the important skills of leadership, teamwork, entrepreneurship and empathy. They also realize that they are powerful and will continue to take initiative and lead again and again throughout their lives.

Program description
The one year Youth Venture Fellowship incl. three workshops over 3 months. 1. Workshop:  Idea Refinement 2. workshop:, World Café, enables peer-to-peer learning 3. workshop buiness planning and budgeting. Following this preparation each team presents their project to a panel of professionals. Based on the panelists feedback the Venturers launchwithf Rs. 5000 Seed funding. Along with the workshops and site visits, each team joins the Community of Changemakers, where teams often gain inspiration and learning from each other.  Youth Venture also provides networking, guidance and seed funding of a total of Rs. 10000 (250 $) Youth Venture also provides a professional mentorship program.Towards the end of the fellowship year, Youth Venture connects teams who are interested in continuing their project in touch with other organizations.

Participants
These young people range from the age of 15 to 24, comes from a variety of socio-economic backgrounds.  There is no any educational qualification or particular background requirement for the young people. The participants should be passionate, energetic and have a dream to make change happen through their project. The Youth Venture participants do not have to end up as Ashoka fellows, though if the participants scale up their venture and arrives at a new idea to solve social problems the Youth Venture participants can apply to the Ashoka fellowship.

Applications
Youth Venture is a one year fellowship. The Youth Venture team conducts outreach in colleges and youth organizations calling for applicants.  There is a simple application form that needs to be filled out and based on this individuals are invited to attend the first three workshops. There is no any educational qualification or particular background requirement for the young people.

Program description
Working in partnership with business and higher education, SIFE establishes student teams on university campuses. SIFE teams work on projects in their communities to create economic opportunity. These projects are developed around the seven SIFE criteria of market economics, success skills, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, environmental sustainability, business ethics and sustainability. Faculty Advisors support and guide SIFE teams in their activities.
