“Someone said that the world is a dangerous place, not because of those who are evil, but because of those who do nothing. One of the lessons that I learned was that we should take initiative to bring about change, no matter how small it is, ourselves,” says Jiban Baral, founder of Alternatives, a Nepali youth-led social enterprise. His programs work to create new possibilities and practices so that the youth can materialise their enthusiastic and pragmatic visions in their local communities.
