About
S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR) is a constituent unit of the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, which was founded in 1938 by the then Kulpati Dr. K.M. Munshi and 53 other eminent professionals.

Program description
Presently, SPJIMR conducts a 17 weekend Management Development Program on Start Your Business for budding entrepreneurs. This is offered twice a year with not more than 25 participants per batch. The public program provides the knowledge and skill sets for starting a scalable business and an understanding of the entrepreneurial mind-set. Participants get acclimatized to the entrepreneurial eco-system.

Participants
Participants for the Start Your Business program are executives with 3 to 15 years experience, 2nd generation family business members wanting to start their own venture and a some fresh/one year experience graduates with a business idea. For the Start Your Business Program SPJIMR looks for graduates with a strong urge to start their own venture in any sector.
