The National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship (www.nfte.com) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, whose mission is to provide entrepreneurship education programs to young people from low-income communities. In 2008, with the endorsement of NFTE US headoffice, Peter F. Drucker Academy of Bright China Group officially launched the NFTE program in Hong Kong.

About
Ashoka's Youth Venture is a global movement that inspires, invests, and supports young people to lead social change. They invest in young people, from the age of 15 to 24, to design and lead their own initiatives that create social impact. In creating and launching their “Ventures,” as they form teams and work together, young people learn the important skills of leadership, teamwork, entrepreneurship and empathy. They also realize that they are powerful and will continue to take initiative and lead again and again throughout their lives.

Program description:
The 14-month Youth Venture Fellowship for 40 young people (age 16-20) comprises of a training camp, mentoring by experienced entrepreneurs, and planning and realisation of youth-led social venture projects. Venturers will be provided with HK$5,000 seed funding.

Participants:
The workshop targets the 16 to 20 years old. Young people in this age range, including senior secondary students, tertiary students or young adults who have finished schooling, are at a critical point in their lives.

About
ASES (Asia-Pacific Student Entrepreneurship Society) is a student organization whose mission is to educate and network the future leaders in business, technology and the Asia-Pacific in order to foster a global entrepreneurship society.

Program description:
Currently ASES Hong Kong Chapter has members from four tertiary institutions in Hong Kong, including City University of Hong Kong, The Chinese University of Hong Kong and The University of Hong Kong
Programs include Bi-annual summits that brings together all ASES organizations; exchange programs to encourages the fluid exchange of students through conferences network: enhances career experiences of students, and career development.

Participants:
Participants are mostly the ASES members, students from university that ASES operated. However, the program is open to everyone for free. The members are from different backgrounds, including business disciplines such as Economics, Finance, Accountancy and Management as well as technical disciplines such as Computer Science, Information Engineering and Management Information Systems.

About
Youth Business Hong Kong was launched in July 2005 and became an accredited youth business programme in the YBI Network in October 2006. The programme covers the whole of the Hong Kong region, and operates as part of the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups. YBHK’s vision is “Another Choice. Another Opportunity”.

Program description:
YBHK provides seed capital, business mentoring, technical support and business network to the youth to help them start up their own businesses successfully.

Participants:
The YBHK scheme is open to any young person between the ages of 18 and 35 years old who is a Hong Kong Identity Card holder, has a viable business idea that will initiate within 12 months or an existing business that has been running for less than 3 years and demonstrates a commitment to start and run his / her own business, but has no access to seed money.
