About
Since 1987, Echoing Green has provided seed funding and support to more than 470 social entrepreneurs with bold ideas for social change in order to launch groundbreaking organizations around the world.

Program description
Each year, Echoing Green awards 20 two-year fellowships to social entrepreneurs. Fellows receive up to $90,000 in seed funding and technical support to turn their innovative ideas into sustainable social change organizations.  Beenfits include: Seed Funding of up to USD90,000, technical support from Eachoing Green staff and the network of 450 experienced social entrepreneurs.  Echoing Green seeks individuals or partnerships (organizations led by two people) with innovative solutions to significant social problems and the ability to grow and lead a new organization. The Echoing Green Fellowship selection process is highly competitive. In 2009, Echoing Green received nearly 1000 applications for fourteen fellowships.
