Intro

Online recruitment (even online business) is a relatively a new concept in Pakistan and not many players have yet established themselve as succeasful as Naveed Ahmed, founder of TechnoBird a Pakistan based IT services organization.

About Me

I am Naveed Ahmed from Islamabad, Pakistan. I graduated as a Software Engineer from Foundation University and currently enrolled for the MBA program at Mohammad Ali Jinnah University.

I started my entrepreneurial venture because I wanted to create opportunities for others, the opportunities that actually have positive impact on the lives of others. When I looked around I found majority of the people are looking for jobs, they in fact are trading their emotions, will and power for money, which I never wanted.

During the last year of my studies of Software Engineering, I realized that there are very few companies in Pakistan that are taking the benefit of the actual potential of the internet in Pakistan. Being a skilled person, I decided to explore this area. Initially I approached different companies located in Europe and Asia to get some projects that I can complete and send them over internet, and the response was quite good. During this time I also completed my internship (which was the degree requirement) at a local public limited company. It was the time when I often browsed the internet to look at available job opportunities in different companies. While searching online for the jobs I hardly found any Pakistani website that offered details about latest job openings. So I decided to launch a website that provides a platform for employers to advertise jobs and jobseekers to apply for those jobs online.

My Venture

I founded TechnoBird, a Pakistan based IT services organization that specializes in website development, webhosting and online recruitment solutions. The brand that makes us proud and which we consider as one of our achievements is Mustakbil.com, Pakistan’s leading jobs site.

The main objective of Mustakbil.com is to streamline the recruitment process while making the job application process simple and reliable for jobseeker. The objective of Mustakbil.com is to develop a platform, on which jobseekers can keep themselves updated about latest job openings available in different organizations and easily apply for the jobs of their interest. Similarly, the jobseekers can create a free jobseeker account at Mustakbil.com, post their resume using online easy step by step resume builder and apply for jobs of their own choice with just a single mouse click.

We launched Pakistani jobs website on October 07, 2004, which now has:

• Over 650,0000 registered jobseekers
• Over 17,000 registered employers
• Over 28,000 job postings
