I became an entrepreneur because I wanted to fulfill my passion in becoming an independent worker, free from all obligations to the employer, while constantly being responsible and work to better myself.

My Story

Intro

Design is the planning that lays the basis for the making of every object or system. But more than that it is the beeauty in everyday items. Bellamy is a combination between a “creative” person and a “geek” with the eye to design beautiful websites and merchandise

About Me

I am an Indonesian graphic and web designer, founder of Neuro-Designs, and currently serve as one of Universitas Pelita Harapan’s Guest Lecturer in the Design Faculty. I am passionate about design and basically everything technical, making myself a combination between a “creative” person and a “geek”.

I was born in a quite technology-conscious family. My dad worked on tech jobs since I was born, so I got the chance to get my hands on computers when I was only 4 years old. I consider myself  quite luckly to be able to become a computer-literate person, although I don't do complex programmings and stuff... Heck! I don't even know how to write in Basic when everybody seems to know how. This is why I chose Informatics Engineering as my major when I went to college, until I was "enlightened". I never took any computer lessons, except that useless one when I was in elementary. I usually learn everything by myself, mostly with help files or articles on the net.

I love design, it has been my passion since I was still in high-school. I started out as an amateur web designer back in 1995, using only Netscape Composer to create my very first site in Tripod.  And no, I never did liked Frontpage. I learned HTML and got myself serious with it by 1997. By 1999, I decided to have this small design studio called Neuro-Designs which still works on various projects even until now. On 2002, I am officially a design student when I decided to transfer myself to Visual Communication Design. Graduated on 2007, I now work full-time in my own company, together with 6 other people including my parents, in the effort of reducing visual disease around us every each of given day. I became an entrepreneur to fulfill my passion in becoming an independent worker, free from all obligations to the employer, while constantly being responsible and work to better myself.

My Venture

My company is called Neuro-Designs, I founded it back in 1999 as a channel to take on side jobs in building website while I was still in high school. It has now evolved into a design firm taking on projects from both local and overseas clients. As a small collaborative design group, we have managed, over the years to cater the needs of a variety of clients, ranging from small startup businesses to well-established corporate businesses with design and communication solutions, effective workflow, and punctual delivery time to every project we’ve handled.
