You can live his whole life on the internet: buy cars, find out about educational opportunities, read news, connect with friends and maybe even find your next wife or husband. Vivek is a young entrepreneur who has successfully started various ventures to provide you with all that.

About Me

I am 28, Co-Founder and CEO of Accentium Web Pvt Ltd, Based in Delhi, India. I was born and brought up in Delhi and did my schooling at St. Xavier School.

I went to the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor for my undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering. After working for a couple of years, I went to get my MBA from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad. After completing my MBA in 2006, I started my internet entrepreneurial journey with a social networking site called DesiMartini.com which was later sold to Hindustan Times, a leading media company in India, in late 2007. Since than, we have been busy building Accentium Web with a vision to become one of the leading consumer internet companies in India.

I like the challenge and success of building successful brands and businesses. I think my strength lies in my understanding of finance, technology, marketing and business strategy. We are very focused on growing our current businesses, building brands, overcoming and learning from challenges that present themselves along our entrepreneurial journey. It has been a challenging and exciting journey so far, and we are excited about growing the current businesses as well as entering new businesses in the future. We are driven by growth in revenue, profitability and traffic / internet reach. We think there is tremendous potential in the Internet space in India in the future, and we would like to position ourselves to capture our piece of the opportunity.

Personally, I like playing golf, watching movies and traveling. I am passionate about my work and being successful is very important to me.

My Venture

Accentium Web is a consumer internet company with a vision to be a leading player in the Indian consumer internet space. Currently, Accentium runs the following businesses / products:

a) Gaadi.com, India’s No. 2 Auto portal (soon to be No. 1, hopefully) where users can research their new car purchase, and buy and sell used cars. Gaadi.com currently receives over 300,000 unique visitors monthly.

b) SecondShaadi.com, India’s No. 1 Matrimonial site for second marriages – Filling a niche but important and growing need in the second marriage segment online – over 150,000 registered profiles

c) StudyNation.com – India’s most content rich education site – helps students determine their best college choice in both India and overseas, while helping them prepare for competitive exams as well.

d) AdLift.com – Which is a services division of Accentium, where we work with companies both in India and overseas to help them with marketing their sites online.”

e) Taaza.com – A variety of verticals on a single platform, Taaza is an aggregation of content on the web, user generated content and users brought together on a single domain.

f) SitaGita.com - Accentium also has an ownership in SitaGita.com - one of the leading online brands catering to the woman audience.

Accentium has two additional Co-Founders, Ankur Warikoo and Umang Kumar.
