My Story

Intro

Increasingly, the world over, people are making a transition from conventional energy sources to Solar Power because they find it more efficient, more economical and environment-friendly. In India, solar rays are an abundant energy source. Many premises are exposed annually to more than 50 times of energy from the Sun than they use in form of electricity or gas. Saurabh returned from Europe back to India to be at the forefront of a revolution that enables Indians to shift to renewable sources of energy for personal as well as business needs.

About Me

Illusions4real is a venture I started on returning from Switzerland. A graduate from Jaipur, I was working with the Swiss Bank, UBS, for the one year in Zurich in the capacity of a project manager. Prior to this I was serving as the marketing and sales manager for a British company in Manchester. After acquiring due amount of experience in various international settings, I decided to set up a business in my hometown that serves the purpose of a business as well as a social initiative is supported by the cause for which the business today stands.

During my undergraduate years, I was actively involved with AIESEC in its global and national level operations. AIESEC is the world’s largest youth run organization that aims at providing young people access to leadership opportunities and exposes them to an international learning environment around socially relevant issues with the aim of providing for positive leadership for the future. I was taking care of the National business development operations for a year for AIESEC in Hungary.

On returning from Zurich, I travelled around India and saw life closely, I witnessed the challenges rural people in India face today. This was when I decided to quit my job and take up a responsibility for my country to light up rural lives and the dimensions just grew further and there has been no stopping since then for my team and me.

My Venture

Illusions4real is an energy saving solutions provider offering various eco-friendly solutions by utilizing the energy of the Sun or providing alternate means to reduce your energy consumption levels and save the environment. At I4R we aim to build and maintain a green future for our global community by promoting energy saving products. We offer SolarMaxx Solar Water Heating, SolarCraft Solar Lighting and LEDvantage LED lighting solutions. Along with this illusions4real runs a campaign titled, ‘Lighting up Rural India’ to bring NGO’s and corporate together to provide light to the villagers in India who are even today deprived of electricity.

The illusions4real group has three flagship brands:

• SolarMaxx – Solar Water Heating Solutions – offering latest evacuated tube technology water heating systems for domestic as well as commercial and institutional use.
• SolarCraft – Solar Lighting Solutions – offering plug and play solar lighting devices such as solar rural lanterns, emergency lights and outdoor lights for streets, gardens etc.

LEDvantage – LED Lighting Solutions – offering environment-friendly, long-life and maintenance free lights that emit no harmful gases and thus help conserve the earth. These lights consume extremely low power and are ideal for domestic as well as commercial lighting.
