My Story

Intro

India’s top universities accept only the 900 odd ‘Country Toppers’ (in academics) from all the 28 states of India. Sasi believes that ideally these toppers should look to optimize the opportunity they have been given and aim for the stars (greater goals and purpose in life), but just a handful were doing so. The others were content with taking up well-paid software jobs in their campus interviews and settling down for a life of routine and mediocrity.

About Me

Man - If he is in politics, he is a git; if out of politics, he is no good to his country. If he doesn't give to charity, he's a tightwad; if he does, it's for show; if he is affectionate, he is a soft mark; if he cares for no one, he is cold blooded.

So I really do not really consider ‘society’ norms and do what my heart and mind tell me to. That is how and why I got to be an entrepreneur – the more it was preached to me that I should settle down into a regular well paying job, the more my resolve became to be an entrepreneur.

I am extremely passionate about entrepreneurship and politics – the two professions that enable you to grow larger than life and make a considerable difference to the world. I believe that there should be a far bigger purpose for any life than just ‘living’ it away and that is what drives me every moment.

My Venture

We wish to encourage more and more people to break ‘routine of thought’. We wish to advocate ‘Out of Box thinking’ in an even grander way with maximum reach. There is enough talent to change the world out there, but the right environment is needed and we hope to provide this to as many children and youngsters as possible. This environment needs to come from within – from ones own thought.

Nitin Chalasani and I together conceived and founded Ludus Entertainment Pvt Ltd with three brands – Ludus F3 (Fun, Friends and Food), Ludus Land (Smart Play) and Ludus Media.

Ludus F3 is a fun place for the whole family and/or a group of friends – You get good food, great ambience and Entertaining activities like comics, board games, console gaming and private home theaters. We currently have 5 outlets in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh and are working on expanding further.

Ludus land is an edutainment place for kids between 5 and 14. Lego, Lego Mindstorms, Radio Controls, Talking Books, play dough, 3D puzzles etc. are all available here for kids to play with and learn. Trained Facilitators guide the kids – especially slow learners – in all this. This is also a party place for Kids! We currently have one flagship outlet and one mini outlet in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh.

Ludus Media is into conceptualizing and making reality shows and short films (of up to 1 hr). We are presently working on two reality shows (based on Lego Mindstorms and Paintball) for late teens and young adults. Script of the movie ‘Dream Shop’ is under progress. We are also currently launching a kids’ Smart Play Newspaper across India.
