How often do you sit in yourr office and think how it might be to start your own business? Start something you are really truly passionate about. Ram Kumar worked for one year before he decided that the time is right for him to become an entrepreneur.

About Me

I, Ram Kumar R am the founder and CEO of Dreamajax Technologies Private Limited. I was born in Coimbatore, India to a simple middle class family who brought me up with a lot of sense and pride for my society and culture. As a child, I was given basic education but I always wanted to excel in whatever I did. My parents were always behind me and encouraged me to do more & achieve higher goals. Today, I’m proud to say that all their hard work and motivation has brought me to where I am.

With just over 8 months of industry experience, I decided to go on my own. Without much investment or encouragement from my peers, I was determined to succeed and became an independent consultant. I spend most of my time at my workplace trying to find new ways to reach out to my audience or developing new tools. With distances being a big issue in Bangalore city, I had to move my residence closer to my workplace to facilitate longer working hours. But today, I have family responsibilities and try to balance my personal life with my work.

I became an entrepreneur because I’ve always believed in being a catalyst of change and not a mere follower. I believe innovation is the lifeblood of progress. India with its demographic of young creative minds with a 'Can Do' attitude has been the perfect platform to showcase my skills.

I love to travel across the country whenever I have the time and explore its diverse culture and photograph them.

My Venture

After initial hurdles and struggles, within a short span of 2 year, I became one of the world’s top 10 independent consultants in areas of web programming and application. Soon, my dreams were becoming a reality with the setup of his private entity Dreamajax Technologies.

The stellar leadership of me has led Dreamajax Technologies with a small team in winning the Karnataka State Award for IT Exports during Nov 2008 as ‘Best Emerging IT company’. I am the youngest person to receive this prestigious state award at the age of 26.

Dreamajax has around 70 employees and has become a preferred consulting firm in the areas of online ad delivery engine and wireless sensor networks. Apart from these services, the company has many products in form of plug-ins and a unique wireless sensors development kit for students and researchers.

I am to grow Dreamajax WSN business across the length and breadth of the country to benefit the student and research community with our low cost solutions.

I have pursued MSc in Software Engineering degree from Bharathiar University, Tamil Nadu and have recently completed my Post Graduation degree in Entrepreneurship from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, India.
